This design is an example of a two storey modern contemporary duplex residence contextualised to capture the essence of the site through combining seamlessly the architecture, interior and landscape design.
The irregular site provides a larger frontage and narrower backyard. Good solar access can brings a healthy living to the resident, a simple but strong architecture language can be controlled the budget. Horizontal and vertical screens and balconies provide modulation across the facade and the material choices allow surface weathering that is sympathetic to the environment.
The living area, which is designed to capture both sunlight and deliver an outlook to the forest, opens out onto a large deck, and allows for an exchange of dialogue between the internal and the external environment.
